This series explores the idea that an artist "brings to life" blank paper. The transformation is not only an origami figure coming alive, but also a progression from monotone and smooth paper to fully textured and patterned animals. The images relate a sense of motion by illustrating the animal performing a natural movement. Each transformation reflects notions of change and growth in that the differences between two consecutive images are minimal, while overall the transformation is drastic.
